The Marron Carrel model 1400
rostrum camera

In the course of our project we have been fortunate to acquire a Marron Carrel model 1400 via the generosity of Donna Lawrence and Mike Redmon of DLP Productions of Louisville, KY. We have collected the pieces and assembled the instrument so that we may extensively photograph it and perhaps produce a video of its functions and abilities. After such documentation we will store the instrument for up to 20 years inn hopes of placing it to a museum or some other institution.  We will post more about this endeavor as it transpires.

5/26/24  - we have assembled the MC 1400 and made a video of its features. Many of the features had to be "faked" as the 50 year old electronics are no longer responding. The MC 1400 is now disassembled, wrapped up and stuffed into the attic for preservation purposes. Hopefully in the future a museum or other such institution will want to collect this piece of history.
