The Multi-Image History Project
The story of a very brief history of a very large industry
“Multi image shows are never finished, they are abandoned.” - norman sauppe'
My name is Richard Allison. This website is for my Multi-Image history project. I am operating on the definition of Mulit-Image as the use of two or more 35mm slide projectors projecting images synchronized to an audio tape recording. My target era is 1960-1999. On this website i will display the progress of this project, results of research perhaps the finished product itself. I apologize for the ads but this is a non profit project and we will not be asking for donations at this time.
The Marron Carrel Project
Part of our project is the collection of a Marron Carrel model MC 1400 rostrum camera. Our goal is to produce an extensive video and many photographs of this instrument, after which it will be stored until a museum of other institution will accept it. Please see the marron carrel page for more.
THE MARRON CARREL OPEN HOUSE
As part of our preservation efforts, there will be an open house encounter session with the instrument. It is of limited function but it moves and lights up. All are welcome;
